Easy money
We all know that crime doesn't pay. Pornography, on the other hand...Bloggers and other new media developers all come to a point very quickly after acquiring basic skills when they realize they can make gobs of money fast by peddling porn.
The infamous Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis is raking in $40 million a year selling videos of drunk college girls taking their tops off. A $500,000 fine for involving underage girls in the videos is nothing to guys like this. He's just the most well known of the reality TV era of Hugh Heffners.
Meanwhile, countless others are skipping video and just promoting their stuff directly online. The Internet has only increased accessibility of porn directly into people's homes, so that they no longer need to pick up a magazine or a video at the corner store.
Is this rant just sour grapes at not having the gumption to make a killing where countless people have already gone? I suspect that Joe Francis has no trouble at all sleeping at night in silk sheets, ensconced in a palatial estate somewhere in California.
Unfortunately for my bank account, it's not the path for me. That likely means its going to be a few more years before I can retire. That's okay. It's a good life.
I wouldn't be all that upset if Joe Francis suddenly became virulently allergic to silk, though.

Degrading is what it is and I guess these girls have little respect for themselves.
