WriteImage: Broken links plus 404 errors equals lost readers and revenues

Traditional print mediums have been moving their content online for years to help recoup some of their lost readership and ad revenues. Media corporations pay big bucks for cool websites with engaging content to win buzz. But these efforts seem to be sabotaged by simple apathy about maintaining links to their own content.

Vancouver PR guru Darren Barefoot puts his finger on the broken links issue in a recent post with some examples that just show the tip of the iceberg.
