I met Matt a 3 years years ago at Gnomedex. He was as passionate about WordPress then as now, in fact more so. I spoke with him briefly yesterday and he kindly mentioned he remembered me. You don't meet many people of that stature that make that kind of impression on you. WordPress seems to also have that kind of nature and that is unique. I agree and he is one of the kindest people you would want to meet.
