Hey Greg! Thanks for commenting. The national pickup program might work, but the logistics of it could actually work out to generating more carbon than what we've got now. Hmmm. Something to think about.

As for the snapshots, I'm afraid we'll have to disagree for now. I like 'em. I actually put them in on purpose (I don't think they came by default with this template, if I remember correctly).

I'd take a poll and find out what most of my readers think, but I typically get less than one per cent of my readership actually responding to surveys.

How about this: If I get a few more comments like yours, though, I'll definitely have to take them down. Done.

Thanks for the very interesting look at this...

I also appreciate your posts regarding the white/yellow pages (that's how I found your blog)

I'm wondering if a national "bring back your white/yellow pages" to designated areas where recycling trucks would take them and leave (to show just how many are actually recycled, and thus, uselessly produced and transported) could help spread the good ideas you were talking about.

Regards from Quebec City, Canada

P.S. Last thing -- I kind of find the "snapshot.com" popups to be a bit annoying, don't you? You can disable this in the WordPress admin, it's an "almost hidden" option there. Cheers

The counter-demonstrators were a small and disunited lot of innocent bystanders who took it upon themselves to stand up for justice. Good for them.

Good stuff,

So where did the counter-protesters come from? in any case, he's right, I am going to go buy some Israeli wine...

Cheers,
