Good luck. Personally I think the Vancouver blogosphere can get kinda snobby and exclusive... so just write about what you love to write and keep on trucking.

Apparently if you have a niche blog you're not allowed to write about anything else you want to ;)

Well good luck! So far what I've read seems great.

You have some tough competition, but I'm sure you'll hold your own. Best of luck - you have my vote!

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for your support.

And yes, I will absolutely return the favor for your most worthy blog, Tanya. Don't count yourself out yet!

:) I voted for ya... Wanna return the favour and vote for the underdog (me) in my best personal blog category? I don't have a chance in hell with John Chow up against me... But, hey... It's the thought that counts, no?

lol press release.

Zune? Jeez, you are a right wing extremist :P JK

I think the nomination of your site as political reflects a relative lack of political blogs in BC/Vancouver. We have our Sean Orrs and Frances Bulas, but there isn't really a BC Huffington Post or Talking Points Memo.

Ha ha - this is hilarious. I just went ahead and voted for you without checking out any of the other 'political' blogs in your category. I tried to vote in the tech category as well but after viewing half the entrants I was tired of looking at boring, ugly blogs (sorry, folks) whose ledes were 'Drupal, beta, OpenSource' and I decided not to vote in that category at all.

Didn't you have the audacity to write about a coffee shop once too?

1) The iPhone is totally a device of obvious and divisive politics

2) I told you when you chose it that "Currents" was a silly name.

Sincerely,
the guy whose blog is named after a private joke that was only funny in 1994.
