To be honest, I'm one of those disgusted with both sides. Yet when thinking of Israel's position, I can't help but think of the quote:

"One who, while himself seeking happiness, oppresses with violence other beings who also desire happiness, will not attain happiness hereafter."

http://www.buddhanet.net/e-learning/buddhism/dp10.htm

The conflict has been perpetuated far too long for either side to claim moral victory. It no longer matter's who is "right" but what is wise.

Resistance doesn't organize itself. Spontaneous eruptions of dissent are likely to be riots rather than resistance. One needs a rational and planned response; and it takes people sitting down to discuss ideas rather than street tactics. Thus, we at Covenant Zone invite you all to sit with us and join in for coffee and discussion about current events in light of potential resistance to jihad and Left dhimmi fascism. We talk, often about books, sometimes about actual physical protest. Talk, regardless, is the rational prelude to action.

We'll be meeting and talking this evening at the local library in downtown Vancouver in the atrium just outside Blenz coffee ar. We meet weekly, each Thursday evening for a few hours, from 7-9:00 to discuss and consider.

Openly sitting in public and being known to sit in public is to demonstrate that we resist jihad and Left dhimmi fascism. We tke it from there. Please feel welcome to join us this evening.
