I’d like to see them put to good use… er, I mean, put to good work… on farms or something like that. Like the old days when prisoners had to do hard labour — but ethical treatment would be necessary. I don’t know whether that’s a capital punishment type idea or whether it’s very smart… but everyone works, right? They need to earn their keep somehow. Just don’t build the prison on the farmland (I’m talking to you, Campbell!). It may be that working in gardens could be therapeutic.

A letter writer to the Sun expressed their dismay at seeing a large photo of a well-dressed Bacon brother on the front page, how we glamourise violence and gangsters and that this portrayal is just contributing to it. Another pointed out that good people like volunteers doing community work never get that kind of coverage. So maybe we should just stop paying (media) attention to these guys and let the police do their fine work.
