A Nuclear Free World?
A world without nuclear weapons would be a better world, where humanity could be free from the threat of total self-destruction. It’s a nice dream.
It’s just a dream, though, at least for the foreseeable future.
Perhaps a better message from the mayor of Nagasaki would be to remind countries not to try to conquer, exploit and enslave a third of the planet, so that their neighbors are not provoked to burn said country to the ground using the most devastating technology available.
No nukes. But first, no war. We have to get the order right.
