Just float into Canadian waters and wait for the official welcoming committee. If the protection of Canada's coastline and sovereignty was the priority this boat would have (and should have) been forced back to International waters. This looks more like some civil servants looking for overtime pay, media opportunities and projects to pad their resume. Releasing a single 'refugee' ROR should not be permitted. Period. The fake refugees will be released on their own recognizance ,disappear into the Tamil community, and cost taxpayers millions. Then we can strike an overpaid committee to study it for a few years and wait for the next boat load to start the whole scam again. I think the HMCS Regina should escort the boat and occupants to international waters and warn them if they return to Canadian water it will be sunk.
