Come on.. Israel does not want Palestine to exist and they don’t want Palestinians getting anything to prolong their stay in Gaza period! I mean shaving cream, popsicles, barbie dolls or anything that would make them comfortable. The goal of Israel is to make life as difficult for Palestinians as possible. The goal of attacking the ships was to dissuade any future attempts to provide aid at all.

The blockade has nothing to do with blocking the movement of aid to Gaza…it’s about making sure it IS aid . Maybe just maybe if these islamists would quit threatening Isreal with CERTAIN annihilation they would’t have to check shipments for weaponry. Stupid stupid people who are entirely incapable of seeing the obvious. No country would allow questionable vessels to approach their ports without warning and the Isreali soldiers did. The Flotilla refused to advance to the 2 ports that they were given. Who incited who here? Wake up people! This was deliberately planned to do just that.

Let me get this straight, Israeli forces decide to board a ship in the dark in open sea against their ‘enemies.’ WTF did they expect? I’m shocked there wasn’t machine gun fire?? All the thugs on the ship did was annoy the undisciplined Israeli soldiers to do stupid shit, which they did. Sad man, so sad.

In any of these kinds of events there are some “givens”

For those who wanted to breach the blockade it was fundamental that they provoke the Israeli’s. I am sure their handlers had them practice every scenario before the boats left Turkey.

They planned the attack, they practiced and up to a point they accomplished everything they wanted. For those behind the scenes the deaths became a bonus, although I doubt whether some of the off shore jerks realized what would happen.

The Israeli’s did make an error in not approaching this with overwhelming force. They tried to finesse with paint guns and it failed. When they found their people facing death they had no other options available.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand that our media
has a pattern and a structure that inferre specific meaning behind their choice of words. Whether that is intentional or not is moot, they do it. So words like “peace activist” are used rather that “militants” who wanted to provoke. Peace activists do not provoke wars.

What we need to accept is that should Iran keep organizing these incidents they will get bolder and bolder until they do something very stupid indeed. Then all hell will break loose.

I’m old enough and grouchy enough to remember the holocaust and I have not forgotten the words, “never again”.

Burke was right on target when he said, “evil only succeeds when good men do nothing”.

I want to know why the Iz went to these lengths. It seems ridiculous that a nation with a military aparatus as well trained as they would continue to drop soldiers in an LZ that was way too hot. No smoke? No flashbangs? Perhaps they were all too sensitive to public relations, considering what happens everytime they open their mouths/shoot an arab.

Look man, if you’re going to go, go balls to the wall, not PAINT balls to the wall. Disable the vessel, then negotiate, OR shoot the leader THEN negotiate.
