What’s Going On At The Vancouver Courier?

Published by at 10:08 am under Current Events, new media,Vancouver

So far, Vancouver’s community newspaper has been known for producing Greg Felton, perhaps best known for his worthless book, The Host and The Parasite, a conspiracy-theory laden tome about nefarious Jewish influence in North America.

Now we’ve got Vancouver Courier columnist Mark Hasiuk‘s bizarre fawning and utterly uncritical review of 9/11 conspiracy nut Michael Keefer’s claims from his book, “Antisemitism. Real and Imagined”.

What is it about the Vancouver Courier that attracts these weirdos?

Check out my series in The Propagandist for a critical analysis of Michael Keefer’s Zionist-neocon conspiracy claims, in which I debunk this sad, seemingly delusional English professor.

Mark, you ought to be ashamed of yourself.

You know, Narvey, I get a thrill out of watching impotent hasbarats like you denigrate my work and that of brave writers like Mark Hasiuk. The generic, knee-jerk denials and smart-ass insults merely show that you have nothing to say.

You have not read my book, so you are unqualified to comment on it, much less refute my evidence of a nefarious zionist influence. You are also unqualified to comment on Michael Keefer’s book.

But you don’t care because your purpose is to spew disinformation and denigrate informed dissent, so that no real discussion takes place. Honest debate scares the hell out of you, just like it scares other zionist trolls.

Your inability to argue like an intelligent human being is the greatest compliment Hasiuk, I and others could receive.

    Lick my balls, Felton.

And Hasiuk can get in line.

Knee-jerk? I’ve written over 3000 words on Keefer’s dumbassitude. Feel free to read the link.

In the course a dialogue about Keefer, you end up, not surprisingly, outing your political support for Mark Steyne’s Macleans piece. That’s something a bit beyond free speech. No its open political advocacy for lurid fear mongering of the muslim bashing variety replete with widely reputed shoddy demographics and calls to pump out more “white babies”. Your proclaimed faux courageous defence of enlightenment values is thus proven to be a farce.

ps Nowhere in Narvey’s voluminous reportage (3000 words dammit) does he register an opinion about the Parliament convening a committee to explore a policised and highly contested discussion about “anti semiticism”.Odd that such an ardent advocate of free speech (or so we are told) would duck such an opportunity. Nor has Narvey, outraged by the Macleans happening, bothered to take issue when the Ontario legislature took the extraordinary measure of denouncing “Israeli apartheid” week as hate speech. What right does such a body have to wade into “speech” issues on campus? It appears that, in reality, Narvey is the kind of character the BCCLA’s director Michael Vonnn described: threats to free speech are to be contrested only when the speaker agrees with Narvey’s worldview.
