My Middle East Predictions for 2012

Published by at 11:43 pm under Middle East

I wrote a novel a little while back dealing with issues of the Middle East. It’s a part of the world I think about a fair bit (check out my commentary at The Propagandist). Usually, it’s because crazy bad stuff is happening there so it’s in the news. A lot of terrible things will continue to happen in 2012, but I think a few nice things will also happen with the bad stuff. Here goes:

  1. Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad will be deposed. Syria may actually become a neo-Ottoman protectorate.
  2. Iran’s nuclear program will be further degraded by software viruses and “industrial accidents”. No need for airstrikes. Phew.
  3. Israel will continue to develop groundbreaking technology that benefits the world and is grudgingly used by BDS campaigners who never invented anything in their dumb lives.
  4. Sales of the Yemeni equivalent of Gatorade will continue to go up due to water scarcity.
  5. Egyptian environmentalists protesting the carbon economy will keep blowing up gas pipelines.

IS THE WEST SERVING AS “USEFUL IDIOTS” FOR AN ISLAMIC FACISTS TAKE-OVER?

Rather than becoming over animated pursuant to recent events in the Middle East, we must consider that the beneficiary of these events will in all probability be the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), a radical Islamic organization that has an atrocious, vicious and sadistic history of terrorism, and also was the intellectual inspiration for the creation of terrorist organizations such as Al Qaeda and Hamas.

Many believe that the MB was responsible for the assassination of Sadat in 1981 after they rejected the 1979 Camp David Accord. In 2008 the barbaric MB lionized bin Laden saying he was a “mujahid”, an idiom of tribute for a jihad warrior, rather than a terrorist. The MB’s mobs of thugs recurrently hijacked secular revolutions with hordes of Islamic extremist screaming their philosophy: “Allah is our objective, the Prophet is our leader, the Koran is our law, jihad is our way, and dying in the way of Allah is our highest objective”

Barack Hussein Obama and his amateurish, bungling Secretary of State should recall that the barbaric MB’s strategy is not to institute an enlightened, liberal democratic Middle East; but rather, to impose Islamic totalitarianism, led by a High Caliphate similar to that of the 8th & 9th centuries, free of Western values, throughout the Middle East. A MB led state, advancing Arab nationalism, would immediately implement radical Islamic Shari law as promoted by Al Qaeda and supported by many Muslims, and of course obliterate Israel.

Regretfully much of the Western World has been courting and coddling radical Islamists for too many years. Many Western administrations have welcomed the Brotherhood’s Islamist associates such as CAIR, The Muslim American Society, the Islamic Society of North America, and radical, activist’s mosque even though some of them have supported Hamas. Barack Hussein Obama’s strategic objective, if one can call it that, appears to be to work with these radical Islamists, and therefore, he has courted them; accordingly, he invited the MB to his 2009 Cairo speech, and has supported the Ground Zero mosque activists.
