Christopher Hitchens. He Never Missed A Deadline

Published by at 2:53 pm under politics

No, I’m not being mean. Apparently, the man some called the most brilliant writer in the English speaking world really did want that for his epitaph (according to Francis Wheen). Another alternative that he quite enjoyed was ‘I sleep mad.”

Sleep mad, Christopher.

“Who is going to make the decision on what speech is allowed”?

Unfortunately, we have too many earnest folks that think THEY have the wisdom to do just that.

And worse, most of them work for The Government.

62 is way too young to die, we shall miss Mr. Hitchens very much.

Really enjoyed this Mr. Narvey. Worth noting that amidst Kim Jong Il and Mr. Hitchens demises, Vaclav Havel’s death was rather overlooked.
