For Once the Commentary is About Me

Published by at 1:07 am under blogs, politics,Vancouver

Here I am on my blog, just mentioning that I’ve been featured on The Commentary blog, having a conversation with Joseph Planta about why I’m not a blogger.

Many thanks to Joe for arranging the podcast. Please do check it out. We talk about how blogging culture has evolved in Vancouver, why it’s important to link up in the real world with people you encounter online and how creative people identify themselves today.

The thing one blogs about is blogging; blogistically, blogs *qua* blogs can only appear in the blogosphere. So lotsa blogs can be a fuckin’ slog, dogg. There’s a kind of fog around blogs, as bloggers know, and have blogged about; when the blogroll gets blogged, can a blogger cease to blog? To blog or not to blog, that is the posting.

If a blog falls in a forest, does anyone read the RSS feed?
