To the People Who Don’t Hold the Elevator Door For Me

I recently moved into a shared office space downtown. It’s awesome. Just getting used to office building etiquette.

    I’ll bet that the buttons are marked with those aggravating triangle symbols, though…and not written in English. I’ve given up up those myself (by the time my brain translates the symbols, it’s often too late). What would be wrong with adding ‘Open’ and ‘Close’ to the buttons? Likewise for the auto industry; it’s a major annoyance to me to have to ‘translate’ things in a rental car or truck.
