New Media is a site for essays, punditry and a unique voice on current events, politics and life from Vancouver, Canada.
New Media is also a forum for discussion and debate. Social breakdown in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, politics at City Hall, environmental sustainability, multiculturalism, Canada-US relations, Canadian perspectives on hot wars and conflict zones around the globe – It’s all on the table.
New Media has a definite perspective: real-politik pragmatism plus a pure Canadian sense of social justice and an ironic sense of humor. You may not agree with everything you read on New Media. You may even love to hate it. Hopefully, you’ll keep coming back.
